Each medium I work with influences the others; perhaps nowhere more so than with digital painting.  Here I set free the scientist in me to experiment beyond the purely representational or photorealist style.  I can be wildly inventive by distorting, combining, and fragmenting images to produce surreal or other-worldly paintings, and I am empowered by the great innovations of our time to do so.

For this work, I use new computer software that enables the artist to paint and draw using a digitizer pad and a computer to emulate natural media such as chalk, pastel, watercolor, and oils.
