If indeed everything is part of a whole, then art is the tissue that connects us. Whether we are creators or collectors, art speaks to us all, touching our deepest core, communicating unuttered, often ineffable, feelings. I am compelled to express myself through art because of its capacity to reveal, communicate, inspire, and transcend. Within the world of art, I seek no particular niche; I want to explore the whole horizon, and this is characteristic of my history. It seems to me I stand at a crossroads in an exciting new world where digital art meets classical realist painting and drawing, and I approach the art world from a nontraditional route. With each new artwork, I seek fresh challenge. If I have been able to express the very nature of what compels me when I look upon something—if I can reach the "aha!" moment—then I rarely choose to revisit that process or depiction. I move on. So you won't see in my body of work 100 variations on a theme. You will find, however, a connective tissue that weaves between my landscapes and portraits, my prints and my pastels, my figurative as well my nonrepresentational works: beauty as it speaks in all its languages; light in its many aspects of magic and revelation; color in its varied abilities to touch, move, and transform.
